Ganesh Karki’s panel has won the new working committee of the Independent Power Producers Association, Nepal (IPPAN).

The new working committee, which was elected unopposed from the chair to the treasurer, had only seven members. In that election, too, all of the Karki group’s candidates won.

Mohan Kumar Dangi has been elected as IPPAN’s Senior Vice Chair. After three years, he will automatically become President. The elected officials were presented with certificates by Chief Electoral Officer Chiranjeevi Khatiwada.

Similarly, 5 Vice Chair have been elected Ashish Garg, Bharat Kumar Khatri, Uttam Blon Lama, Ram Prasad Acharya, and Ananda Chaudhary.

Similarly, Balram Khatiwada was elected as the general secretary and Prakash Chandra Dulal as the deputy general secretary.

Similarly, 5 secretaries were elected as Bharat Prasad Nepal, Bharat Kumar Khadka, Kabita Pokharel, Bikram Bista and Him Prasad Pathak. Narendra Ballabh Panta has been elected as the treasurer.

Seven of the ten members were open, and three were female. The women members were elected unopposed, however 7 of the 14 unfilled seats were up for grabs.

Uttar Kumar Shrestha, Shankar Basyal, Mithun Chakraborty Prasad Paudel, Bharatmani Nepal, Vijay Mohan Bhattarai, TN Acharya, and Bharat Parajuli were also voted to the Karki panel. While Shrestha received the most votes (273), Basyal received 254 votes, Nepal received 225 votes, Parajuli and Poudel received 217 votes, Acharya received 216 votes, and Bhattarai received 193 votes.

Among the three women members, Isha Shrestha, Susan Karmacharya, and Suman Joshi were elected unopposed.
