Yamato International Pvt. Ltd. located in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-8, Kamane has started exporting equipment for producing renewable energy from waste to Japan.

The corporation has started exporting machinery for producing alternative renewable energy, CNG gas and green hydrogen, which is manufactured in collaboration with a Japanese company, to Japan from Sunday.

According to Yamato International Pvt. Ltd., with the technical support of Yamaji Masamura, a Japanese scientist who developed technology to produce electricity, CNG and green hydrogen from waste, a device called Yamato UWS was produced in Hetauda and exported to Japan according to the demand of Japanese industrialists.

The Chief Minister of Bagmati Province Shalikram Jamkattel observed the equipment to produce renewable energy from waste produced by the company and launched the export of those equipment in a programme held at the industrial premises on Sunday.

He said that the renewable energy generation equipment would help in solving the waste management problem as waste management had become a challenge in Nepal in recent times.

He said that it is a matter of benefit for Nepal that the machine that produces electricity and green hydrogen gas is produced here and said that it is necessary for all three levels of government to create and streamline the necessary laws to use it.

Krishna Khatiwada, proprietor of Yamato International Pvt. Ltd., Hetauda, said that they are going to export the equipment produced by them to Japan for the third time.

He said that demand for this technology is coming from other countries, including India and that it is necessary to create an environment to use it within the country as well.

He said that before there was only environmentally-friendly waste management and heat energy, now green hydrogen production technology equipment has been manufactured. Japanese scientist Yamaji Masamura and others were present in the programme.

Earlier, the company had made all kinds of waste management equipment using pyrolysis technology in collaboration with a Japanese company and exported it to Japan.

Currently, 10 devices for making fertiliser from rotting waste and turning waste into energy are in ready position.

The price of the machine tools to be exported is USD 350,000 per set. Earlier, the company had exported two environmentally-friendly waste management and heat energy equipment.

According to the company, the equipment was sold for Rs. 25 million per set.
