The northern area of Dhading is considered very remote and most of the places here still lack accessible roads.

Even though it has been four decades since the work of Daman Pakhrin Road connecting north Dhading started, the work has not been completed yet.

As the bridge was not built at Kintangphedi on the Daman Pakhrin route, traffic was being operated in north Dhading only in winter.

But this year, after the construction of the bridge, it will be very easy for movement.

The construction of the Chinese bridge has been completed in Khaniyabas Rural Municipality-4 Kintangphedi of Dhading. The concrete bridge has been constructed after about four decades of road digging in the Kintang river on the Daman-Pakhrin Road, which is considered the lifeline of northern Dhading.

Lawmaker representing Dhading district Ram Nath Adhikari said that as this is the main route connecting north Dhading to the district headquarters, the bridge is being constructed.

According to him, the construction of the bridge was made possible with the help of the Nepali Army, which greatly helps the movement of people and economic development here.

Due to the absence of a bridge at Kintangphedi, traffic was completely closed for five months of the rainy season.

MP Adhikari said that the bridge being built in Kintangphedi, which is estimated to cost around Rs. 10 million, will open the door to the development of north Dhading.

Ran Bahadur Tamang, Chairman of Khaniyabas Rural Municipality, said that the construction of 140-foot-long, 4.2-meter-wide bridge connecting Rubi valley, Gangajamuna, Khaniyabas and Netrawati Dabjong Rural Municipality of north Dhading has reached its final stage.

Almost four decades after the opening of the track, the locals of the northern area of Dhading are happy now that the Chinese bridge has been built on the Kintang River.

Nabaraj Shrestha, Chief Administrative Officer of Khaniyabas Rural Municipality, said that after the construction of the bridge, the living standard of the residents of north Dhading will improve.

Chairman of Netrawati Dabjong Rural Municipality Meghnath Rijal said that around Rs. 2.5 million financial support has been provided for the construction of the bridge to improve the standard of living in northern Dhading.

He said that due to the lack of bridges, they faced great problems during emergencies.

He said that the standard of living would also improve as the people's life would be easier and the agricultural products produced could be supplied to the market.

The bridge being built in Kintangphedi has been constructed with sidewalks on both the sides.
