Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD Auto Industry Co. Ltd. in Nepal, proudly inaugurated the BYD Hi-Tech Week today.

The prestigious event was graced by the presence of Mr. Xie Yu, the Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, Mr. Ketsu Zhang, the Vice General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales (BYD APAC) Division, Mr. Anil Shrestha, Chair of Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., Ms. Yamuna Shrestha, Managing Director of Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., along with distinguished members of the media and dignitaries.

At the heart of the event, BYD unveiled five state-of-the-art vehicles – Yangwang U8, FCB Bao 5, Denza Z9GT, Denza D9, and BYD Shark 6 – each representing a new era in automotive technology.

These vehicles come equipped with cutting - edge advancements designed to redefine safety, performance, and innovation in the electric and hybrid vehicle industry.

The event featured a series of live demonstrations highlighting the industry-leading technologies that power BYD’s latest models:

1. Blade Battery Nail Penetration Test

　Showcased BYD’s revolutionary Blade Battery, renowned for its unparalleled safety and durability. Demonstrated resilience against thermal runaway, reinforcing BYD’s commitment to battery safety.

2. E-Platform 3.0 Presentation

　Provided insights into the advanced E-Platform 3.0, enabling optimized battery efficiency, enhanced power output, and intelligent energy management.

3. Denza Z9GT Compass Turn & Extreme Turn Demonstration

　Showcased the innovative Compass Turn feature, allowing extreme maneuverability in tight spaces.

　Demonstrated the vehicle’s Automatic Parking capability, highlighting its precision and convenience.

4. FCB Bao 5 Speed Bump & Suspension Test

　Displayed BYD’s intelligent suspension system, ensuring superior ride comfort and stability across varying terrains.

5. Yangwang U8 e 4 Platform & Disus-P

　Highlighted the revolutionary Tank Turn feature, enabled by the e 4 platform, which allows independent wheel control for superior off-road performance.

　Demonstrated the Disus P intelligent chassis control system, enhancing stability and adaptability in extreme conditions.

Slot 1: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Slot 2: 01:30 pm – 03:00 pm
Slot 3: 04:00 pm – 05:30 pm
