The 10th international industrial exhibition is beginning here from April 10.

The three-day expo is organized by Chitwan Chamber of Commerce.

Information about the event was shared at a press conference organized here today.

Chamber Chair Madan Ghimire said the exhibition would help boost production and export.

The industrial and agricultural products, handicrafts, plastics and packaging are in the display. Together in the exhibition are machineries and technologies applied in production and service industries.

The stalls will be managed from all seven provinces. The industries linked to national campaign of ‘Make in Nepal’ will have significant presence.

The machineries of the National Innovation Centre are equally important attractions, according to Ghimire.

It is expected that over 25,000 industrialists and entrepreneurs will have participation in the expo having over 100 stalls.

The Nepali products are exported to various countries including India, Ethiopia and Sri Lanka. The event would help international marketing of Nepali products.

The organizers further said event would also serve as a reminder to the government for creating atmosphere conductive to industries so that it would help foster entrepreneurship, employment and utmost use of local products.
