A large crowd of ordinary citizens has gathered at the Nepal Gas Industry located in the Balaju Industrial Estate following a shortage of cooking gas (LPG).

With a drop in supply across various gas depots, consumers have been forced to go directly to the plant to procure gas cylinders.

As finding gas cylinders in the market has become difficult over the past few days, consumers have started standing in queues early in the morning.

Long lines have been observed on the factory premises, creating challenges for crowd management. Consumers state that this situation will persist until the gas supply returns to normal.

The Nepal Oil Corporation has stated that efforts are underway to ease the supply. However, there are no immediate signs of a resolution.

Saying that the shortage of gas has impacted daily life, consumers have demanded a swift solution.
