Chery Wanda has showcased its smart electric commercial EV vans at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, which commenced today at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.

The expo, being held from Aug 11 to 16 (Shrawan 26 to 31), offers visitors an opportunity to explore and learn more about Chery Wanda’s electric commercial vehicles in different seating capacities, according to the company.

At NAIMA Stall No. 16, Hall D, Chery Wanda is showcasing electric commercial vehicles with seating capacities of 11, 12, 14, and 16 seats.

Designed with commercial operators, schools, and colleges in mind, the EV vans prioritize modern technology, ample battery capacity, high peak power, and excellent ground clearance.

The 11- and 12-seater models are equipped with a 41.86 kWh CATL battery, 70 kW peak power, 180 mm ground clearance, and a range of up to 300 km on a single charge.

Similarly, the 14-seater model features a 53.58 kWh CATL battery, 80 kW peak power, 200 mm ground clearance, and a range of up to 300 km.

Likewise, the 16-seater mini bus is available with 53.58 kWh and 70 kWh CATL battery options, delivering 80 kW and 120 kW peak power, respectively.

It offers 210 mm ground clearance and a range of 280 to 350 km, depending on the model, according to the company.

As demand for electric vehicles for commercial purposes continues to grow, Chery Wanda expects its electric vans to offer a modern, comfortable, and environmentally friendly mobility solution for passenger and commercial transportation.

Meanwhile, Chery Wanda has also announced a collateral-free vehicle purchase facility through hire purchase financing.

The company believes the facility will provide customers interested in purchasing commercial vehicles with a more convenient and accessible financing option.

Visitors and customers attending the expo can directly learn about Chery Wanda’s electric commercial vehicle models, features, driving range, and available financing facilities for vehicle purchases, the company said.
