As interest in electric vehicles continues to grow in Nepal, Ather Energy has expanded its nationwide presence with the opening of a new Experience Centre in Dharan.

Vaidya’s Energy Pvt. Ltd., Ather’s authorised distributor in Nepal, has launched the new facility at Chhata Chowk in Dharan-1.

The centre was formally inaugurated on Bhadra 17, taking the total number of Ather Experience Centres in Nepal to 13, according to the company.

The inauguration was attended by Dharan Acting Mayor Aindra Bikram Begha and Sunsari Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Gopal Shrestha.

The company said the new centre had already received more than 25 bookings even before its official opening. Customers can explore and test ride Ather’s 450 series, 450X Overtone series and Rizta models at the facility.

The 450 series comes equipped with features such as Magic Twist, Infinite Cruise and Voice Interactions, while the Rizta has been designed with a focus on comfort, practicality and everyday family use.

Special Opening Offers

To mark the opening, Ather has introduced a special opening scheme valid until Bhadra 23. Customers can choose one of three benefits: an extended battery warranty, zero-percent interest financing with a 50 percent down payment, or an additional valuation benefit of Rs 8,000.

Up to Eight Years of Battery Warranty

Under its Ather Eight70 Battery Warranty, the company provides battery coverage for up to eight years or 80,000 kilometres, with an assurance that battery health will remain at 70 percent during the warranty period.

Vaidya’s Energy said it currently operates more than 10 authorised service centres across Nepal and has established a fast-charging network of more than 50 locations.

According to the company, compatible Ather scooters can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in approximately 45 minutes through the network.

The company said the new Dharan Experience Centre will improve access for customers in eastern Nepal to Ather’s electric scooters, technology, after-sales services and charging infrastructure.

With the expansion of its Experience Centres, service network and charging infrastructure, Ather aims to build a more comprehensive electric mobility ecosystem in Nepal.
