Triveni Synthetic paid the first installment of outstanding dues for dedicated and trunk line electricity charges; the disconnected power line has been reconnected.

Triveni Synthetic Yarn Industries Pvt. Ltd., operating in the Parsa Industrial Corridor, has paid the outstanding amount of premium electricity charges for the electricity it consumed through dedicated and trunk lines during the load-shedding period.

After the first installment was paid, the electricity line of Triveni Synthetic, which had been disconnected on Kartik 4 (October 21), was reconnected on Thursday evening, according to the Nepal Electricity Authority’s Managing Director, Manoj Silwal.

Triveni Synthetic has paid the first installment of the premium charges for the use of dedicated and trunk lines for the period from Magh 2072 (January 2016) to Baisakh 2075 (April 2018). The company had an outstanding amount of NPR 43.983 million (4 crore 39 lakh 83 thousand rupees).

This outstanding amount has been divided into 28 installments, and Triveni Synthetic has paid NPR 1.571 million (15 lakh 71 thousand rupees) as the first installment.
