MAW Vriddhi Motors has launched an extended warranty programme for Dongfeng Nammi electric vehicles in Nepal, increasing coverage for key components of its Nammi Box and Nammi Vigo models.

Under the new programme, the warranty coverage for the battery and motor has been extended to 11 years or 250,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. Previously, the vehicles came with a standard manufacturer warranty of eight years or 200,000 kilometres.

Managing Director Vivek Sikaria said the initiative aims to strengthen customer confidence and make EV ownership more reliable.

The company stated that customers can register for the extended warranty through the official Dongfeng Nepal website.

Dongfeng Motor Corporation, founded in 1969, is one of China's major state-owned automobile manufacturers with products sold in more than 100 countries.
