Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Proton vehicles in Nepal, has launched the all-new Proton e.MAS 5 in Janakpur alongside the inauguration of its new regional showroom, marking 10 operational Proton showrooms nationwide.

Introduced as the brand’s second electric vehicle in Nepal, the company stated that the e.MAS 5 aims to make urban lifestyles and daily commuting more effortless, smart, and modern.

Having recently been named ‘Electric Compact Vehicle of the Year 2026’ at the prestigious ‘Allianz DSF Vehicle of the Year Awards 2026’ in Malaysia, the Proton e.MAS 5 seamlessly combines cutting-edge technology, smart features, and intelligent design.

The e.MAS 5 comes equipped with modern conveniences, including a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

In addition, its 70-liter front trunk (frunk), expandable 375-liter rear luggage space, and 32 storage compartments provide exceptional practical utility for both daily city driving and long-distance travel.

The dual inauguration and launch ceremony were attended by distinguished guests, including the Deputy Mayor of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City, Mr. Kishori Sah, key business partners, media representatives, auto journalists, and local dignitaries.

The enthusiastic turnout highlighted the growing demand for electric mobility and rising confidence in sustainable transportation across Janakpur and surrounding regions.

The Proton e.MAS 5 is available in two variants: Prime and Premium.

To mark the regional launch in Janakpur, Jagdamba Motors announced a special introductory starting price of Rs. 32.99 Lakhs for the Prime variant and Rs. 36.99 Lakhs for the Premium variant.

Prospective buyers can now visit Proton’s new official showroom in Janakpur to view the e.MAS 5 firsthand and schedule a test drive.

Visitors can also receive detailed insights regarding the vehicle’s smart features, design, and overall driving dynamics directly from showroom specialists.

The opening of the Janakpur showroom represents another major achievement in Jagdamba Motors’ nationwide expansion to enhance access to electric vehicles across regional markets in Nepal.
