Nepal’s largest automobile exhibition, the NADA Auto Show 2026, opened at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu on Tuesday, bringing together major automobile brands, two-wheeler manufacturers, component suppliers and financial service providers under one roof.

Organised by the Nepal Automobile Dealers’ Association (NADA), the 18th edition of the annual auto show is being held as a “Golden Jubilee Edition” to mark NADA’s 50th anniversary.

The exhibition covers around 300,000 square feet and features more than 200 stalls. According to NADA, the event includes 23 passenger vehicle brands, 17 light commercial vehicle brands, 13 two-wheeler brands and around 70 stalls showcasing automobile components, accessories, tyres, lubricants and garage equipment.

Major four-wheeler brands participating in the exhibition include Aion, BYD, Changan, Chery, Deepal, Foton, Geely, GWM, Skoda, Suzuki and Tata. Two-wheeler brands include Royal Enfield, Yamaha, Aprilia, Revolt and Nepal-made Yatri scooters.

A dedicated “Made in Nepal/Made for Nepal” pavilion is another key attraction of this year’s event, featuring vehicles and products manufactured or assembled domestically, along with locally produced lubricants, batteries, helmets and other automobile-related products.

Visitors interested in purchasing vehicles can also access financing and insurance services at the exhibition venue.

Banks and financial institutions are providing information on vehicle loans, while insurance companies are offering related services.

NADA expects around 200,000 visitors during the exhibition. Separate zones have been designated for four-wheelers, two-wheelers, financial institutions, auto components and garage equipment.

Security and visitor-support arrangements include an emergency medical team, CCTV surveillance, fire-control facilities and a traffic information desk.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav and will run at Bhrikutimandap until Aug 30 (Bhadra 14).
