The Nepal Oil Corporation has urged consumers not to panic and hoard extra LP gas cylinders. The corporation requested the public to purchase gas only according to their actual requirements, noting that hoarding can lead to shortages for other consumers.

The corporation released comparative sales data for three months from the previous year and the current year. According to the figures, 3,375,595 cylinders were sold in Ashadh 2082, compared to 3,136,937 in Ashadh 2083. In Shrawan 2082, sales stood at 3,121,048 cylinders, which rose to 4,036,364 in Shrawan 2083.

For the month of Bhadra, the corporation recorded sales of 3,713,894 cylinders up to the 27th day of 2083, whereas 3,355,960 cylinders were sold during the entire month of Bhadra 2082.

The corporation stated it is working to ensure the supply system remains smooth and committed to providing daily updates on market conditions. It also thanked consumers for their patience and cooperation during this period.
